The Sixties Daily Trivia

Sorry!  Born Stevland Hardaway Judkins, Stevie Wonder performed as a child in the choir of his hometown, Saginaw, Michigan. Blind since shortly after his birth, Wonder displayed exceptional talent as a child prodigy and signed with Motown at the age of 11. Hearing him sing for the first time, Motown boss Berry Gordy, Jr. marveled that the boy was a wonder, a sentiment that led to his stage name, "Little Stevie Wonder." In 1963, at the age of just 13 years old, Stevie Wonder made history by becoming the youngest solo artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Top 100 chart with his smash hit single, "Fingertips Pt. 2"
